SMEs Innovation Award 2018
In order to promote the innovative ideas and international competitiveness, Taichung City Industrial Association selected enterprises, which have profound R & D capacity, and presented the innovation awards on November 9, 2018. The mayor of Taichung City attended the award ceremony personally.
This time the award winning product of TOUGU DENKI is -"Wideband and Extra-Long Sensor". This sensor is used to solve the problem of volume changing of web diameter or web width, in such processes as cold rolling of steel coil and aluminum coil.
“The diameter of steel coil is large volume changing, therefore, if the distance of the sensor is not enough, the sensor is easy to get damage.”
“The distance of our Wideband and Extra-Long Sensor is 1800mm, which is 60 times longer than the regular sensors. That’s why it can not only overcome this issue, but also help customers to solve the problem.” said Mr. White, the section manager of TOUGU DENKI.
