What is Web Guide Sensor? How it Works?
The Web Guide Sensor (Edge Sensor) is a sensor used to detect the web, it is widely used in roll-to-roll (R2R) industrial machinery, such as film, paper, steel, foil, non-woven fabric, textile... etc. The Web Guide Sensor can be used for position detection of the web, or with a web guiding system for web guiding.
According to the web material and detection requirements, there are many kinds of Web Guide Sensors can be chosen: Ultrasonic, Infrared, Photoelectric, CCD Image or others.

Ultrasonic Sensor (Fork Sensor) Ultrasonic sensor detects, suitable for clear film, opaque film, light-sensitive materials, paper, foil…etc, and high dust environments.
